November 15th Challenge

Hi everyone

Its another challenge over at All Dressed Up and with it our winners of the blog hop!  good luck to those who entered and thank you for all the wonderful comments!

Why not now enter our challenge using the Freebie, new releases or in fact any of the gorgeous All Dressed up images.  If you'd like more freebies please click here!

Well Christmas is well underway in our house.  The shopping centre I work at has just switched on the Christmas lights and opened the Grotto so i guess we're officially on countdown.

To help with the Christmas cards I've made this nice and simple one as inspiration.

I used kraft card and stamped some trees and embossed with gold glitter embossing powder.  I coloured the image (found here) with promarkers and fussy cut her out, before stamping and embossing the sentiment.  Its mounted on a piece of scrap white card which I use double sided sticky tape and glitter to match the edges to the embossing

There are loads more gorgeous images here on etsy - or enter our competitions on the blog or Facebook for a chance to win some.
Our newest challenge (click pic below)

Hope to see you again soon - thank you again for your fabulous comments

Hi everyone

Only yesterday I announced on the blog hop that there was a freebie coming... and here it is!

If you want to join the blog hop, click here to leave me a comment.

Here is my card using this little cutie

I have never used yellow and grey before, but fell in love with these pink petticoat papers.

She's been brought to life with promarkers and cosmic shimmer glitter glue.  I die cut a doily (first cut around balloon so it could go over the die) then backed her with grey card.  The happy birthday sentiment is a Simon says stamp, stamp.

If you want to get hold of our freebie you'll find it here

Please check out Facebook for more competitions and inspiration from fellow Dressy girls.  The DT have made some amazing cards, so please pop in on our blog to see the up coming designs!

Thank you so much for taking time to leave me a comment  it makes my day to get them!

I'd like to enter this into:

This is one of the stops on the blog hop, and thank you for landing here!  I'll be choosing a comment in readiness for the winners to be announced on 14th November and each winner will choose an image (including the new releases) as their prize!

The new releases for this month are:

Christmas Deer                                    Christmas Penguins                 Christmas Present

and finally Christmas star

You can find all these images here in etsy to purchase, along with so many others it may be difficult to choose!

If you haven't yet started Christmas cards, these images are perfect whatever your style!

Check out our Facebook page for more competitions or our pinterest page for inspiration.

Here is my card for the hop, I used Christmas penguins

The image is coloured with my trusty promarkers.  The papers and sentiment are from Pink Petticoat, finished with black card for matting and layering and sprinkles of glitter!.

Leave me a lovely message, not only will you be entered into the winners hat for the prize, it also makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to know people read my ramblings.

You've made it this far, only a few more to go.  Your next stop should be Sheila - Her card is stunning!

Good luck everyone!

See you all soon
